Jan 9, 2024 : In a unique and immersive educational experience, students of grade 4A,B and C of Carmel school Moodbidri recently transformed their class into villagers, showcasing traditional practices and artefacts while delving into the evolution of transport and communication. This event, attended by the school community, featured an array of exhibits, including models and charts depicting key figures in these domains.

Village Showcase:

Dressed in vibrant costumes, students recreated the essence of village life, bringing forth an impressive array of artefacts used in daily activities. From traditional tools to household items, the exhibition provided a vivid snapshot of the rich cultural heritage embedded in rural communities.

Transport and Communication Display:

The highlight of the event was the students' creativity in presenting models and charts related to transport and communication. Each student dressed as a historical figure associated with these fields, embodying characters such as drivers, pilots, Charles Babbage, Samuel Morse, postmen, Graham Bell, and John Baird.

The choice of historical figures added an educational dimension, allowing students to delve into the lives and contributions of pioneers in transport and communication. The interactive exhibits engaged both students and visitors, fostering a deeper understanding of the technological advancements that have shaped our world.

The immersive experience not only showcased the students' creativity but also served as an effective educational tool, receiving praise for its innovative approach to blending history with the present.
