Christmas brings love, peace, hope, joy and happiness. Christmas is all about love, sharing and caring. With this in mind Carmel School CBSE Moodbidri celebrated Christmas on 23rd of December 2021 with great splendour and enthusiasm. The entire campus was adorned with Christmas decorations - Christmas tree, crib, gifts and stars. The walls of the school glowed with colourful stars. The crib on the school premises was the main attraction. Everyone in their attire adorned with red added to the beauty of the joyous season.

The day's programme commenced by invoking the Almighty God with an inspiring prayer service followed by a welcome dance. On this auspicious day Melisha Lewis of class X welcomed Sr. Priya Maria A.C the Superior of Carmel Convent as well as the Joint Secretary of our institutions, Sr. Elena the School Administrator and Sr. Jyothi Saldanha the Principal and also the gathering.

On the joyous occasion of Christmas the gathering was entertained by the students dancing to Last Christmas song and also presented a fusion dance. The students melodiously sang the Christmas carols in different languages and spread the fragrance of the Christmas season. The true meaning of Christmas was depicted through a tableau on the birth of Jesus Christ.

The school had organised competitions on the occasion of Christmas and prize winners from KG to Class X were honoured with certificates. Sr.Priya Maria A.C in her Christmas message invited everyone to spread love, peace, joy and imbibe the true spirit of Christmas namely loving, sharing, caring and giving.

Finally the students were mesmerized by the arrival of Santa wherein the little tiny tots danced for Jingle Bells. This Christmas celebration was indeed a meaningful and memorable one. The celebration came to an end after being served with Christmas cake.

Viola Pinto of class X compered the programme and Clarissa Dcosta of class VI proposed the vote of thanks.
