Carmel School Moodbidiri celebrated ‘World Day of the Poor’ to mark Sesquicentennial ( 150th years) jubilee of Apostolic Carmel Congregation in India on 18th November 2019. To make this day a memorable one, we invited the children of Kannada Medium Schools namely, Main School Moodbidri, Jyothi Nagara Govt. School and Labour School Moodbidri along with their teachers.

The programme began with a prayer song and children were welcomed by the Institution. A short skit depicting the life of Venerable Mother Veronica was presented. Our Joint Secretary Sr. Niveditha Spoke on our Foundress Mother Veronica and she added that our Foundress worked for the poor and the needy in order to give them good education and addressed the students to imbibe good values in their lives.

As a gesture of love, children received stationeries and refreshments which bought smile on their innocent faces.
