Vanamahotsava tree planting festival was celebrated in Carmel School, Moodbidiri on 10th July 2019.

The celebration was an opportunity to instil the value of social responsibility in the students towards safe guarding trees.

The awareness programme was put up by the students of class 8th, the programme began with the prayer and cultural programmes.

The Chief guest Mr Prakash Poojary, Range Forest officer Mr Manjunath Ganiga Deputy Range officer, the Rotary club president Mr. CH. Gafue highlighted the importance of Vanamahotsava in their speech. After the stage programme the students along with the Chief Guest planted the saplings in the school campus.
