Carmel School CBSE Moodbidri organized “guidelines on tobacco control initiatives in schools” on 2nd March, 2021.

The students of classes 6 to 10th and the faculty were given certain guidelines on tobacco control, harmful effects of tobacco and awareness of sales of tobacco products to minors. Mr. Prajwal Pereira, the Resource Person enlightened the students regarding the four stages of tobacco such as Desire, Trial, Habit and Addiction. In order to make this concept clear, videos were shown to the students. The students gained knowledge on the consequences of tobacco; indeed the day was very effective, methodical and efficient.

Delisha Dsouza of Class 10th welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks.
