Oct 14 : 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of our Nation, was celebrated on 2nd October, 2019 at Carmel School, Moodbidri. Mr. John Wilson Pinto, the ex-army Officer was the Chief Guest of the day. A devotional ambience prevailed as the programme began with a meaningful prayer service by reading a verse each from the Bible, Quran and Bhagavtgeetha followed by the lighting of the lamp.

To uphold the value of non- violence, students performed a fascinating dance. The chief guest, in his speech highlighted the sacrifice, Gandhiji made for our country. He encouraged the students to work hard in order to attain success. The programme concluded by singing National Anthem.
